If you have misaligned teeth and want a discreet and effective way of realigning them, Invisalign is a convenient way of doing so. It consists of clear plastic aligners that are barely visible when worn and they can be removed when you need to, as long as you wear them for an average of 22 hours a day. This means you can take them out when eating and drinking, brushing and flossing. The aligners apply gentle pressure to your teeth to gradually move them into the correct position over time. The aligners are made bespoke to fit your mouth, sitting comfortably on the gum line. The digital scan that is taken in order to get the measurements for your aligners can also produce a 3D animation of what your teeth will look like after treatment, before you even start having it. We currently have a free smile evaluation for this. There is no obligation to go ahead with treatment if you aren’t fully satisfied that having Invisalign will get you the smile that will make you happy. It’s a great opportunity for you to explore the options with us, though, and you can ask as many questions as you like of our dentist Sheffield.

Dental implants

If you have a missing tooth, several missing teeth or a whole set, we can offer dental implants. Dental implants are the next best thing to having your natural teeth, because they consist of titanium screws which are attached to the jawbone and act as artificial roots for your replacement teeth. This enables the replacement teeth to stay firmly in place when you eat and drink, as well as when you are talking. The finished result is a mouth of natural looking teeth! It should be impossible to see the difference between your natural teeth and your replacement ones, especially as the crowns, bridges or dentures that are attached to the screws are made to complement your remaining natural teeth, where appropriate.

If you are interested to find out how we can help with any of your dental needs, don’t hesitate to contact us. We offer free virtual consultations. All we will need for this is a photo of your smile and we will do the rest. We look forward to meeting you and sharing our expertise and knowledge with you to get you a scintillating smile once more.
