Dentures

from £445.00

Dentures are used to replace missing teeth in the mouth. They are produced from either acrylic (plastic) or metal.

A full denture will replace the whole set of your teeth in either your upper or lower jaw, a partial denture will replace a few missing teeth in either the upper or lower jaw.

Full dentures can help support your cheek and lips by keeping them in a structured and lifted shape, and stops drooping of facial muscles which may make an individual appear to have an older appearance.

However, dentures are not your only options. Bridges (used to cover smaller gaps of missing teeth) or dental implants (artificial root placed in jaw bone) are both viable options that we also provide with dental implants being the only permanent solution.

You can choose to get your dentures custom made in 3 specific options which are;

  1. Star Quality Dentures Basic quality acrylic and teeth used in production.
  2. Star Quality dentures: High quality acrylic and teeth used to give a better and natural look
  3. Star Quality Dentures: Premium quality acrylic and teeth used to give the best natural look. Special impressions taken from individuals to allow a better fit for the dentures.

What precautions should I take whilst using dentures?

Eating may take a bit of practise and patience. Therefore we suggest to start with soft foods before moving on to harder, solid textured foods.

You should also always remove your dentures at night (unless advised otherwise) to ensure your gums are well rested and to maintain oral hygiene, a healthy mouth is a happy mouth.

How can I maintain the condition of my dentures?

You should brush your dentures regularly, before sleeping and after eating using a soft bristle brush to ensure they are hygienic and clean and then soak. Also try to store them in water to stop them from distorting when you are not using them.

What is the average duration that dentures last for?

With good maintenance and oral hygiene, dentures last from 5 to 7 years. You will need regular check-ups with Dr Akaash Bagga to verify that they are comfortable along with any further advice needed.
